The Indigo Manza was first launched on 14 October 2009. It was made available in 4 variants namely Aqua, Aura, Aura ABS and Elan, Aqua being the entry level variant and Elan being the top most variant. In October 2012, the Indigo Manza was re-launched as Manza Club Class. The new Manza variants also got new nomenclature. Formerly recognized as Aqua, the base shape of the car along with the added chrome bits and new fabric for the seat covers, were reasons to rechristen it to LS. The Aura was rechristened to LX with AC controls that can be electrically operated. These features are also available on the VX variant whose original name was the Aura ABS. The ABS feature is additional to the VX variant. VX variant also comes with a touchscreen navigation system. The EX variant, formerly known as Elan, has automatic climate control and a contrasting shade for the roof of the car in addition to the features from the lower variants.
Some of the features included an uplifted look for the exteriors, prolonged headlights and an uplifted façade. The new Manza Club Class has a 15-inch eight spoke alloy wheels. Amongst the top variants of the Tata Manza, the EX variant, erstwhile Elan trim, has a wheelbase of 2520 mm and a turning radius of 5.1 metres
